Looking to explore beyond the ski resort? These guided snowshoe hikes offer a quieter way to experience winter in the Eastern Sierra. Led by a knowledgeable naturalist, each outing winds through snowy forest trails while sharing insight into local wildlife, winter ecology, and the landscape that makes this region so special.

Hikes follow mostly flat terrain over a relaxed 1.5 to 2 miles, making this a great option for families, first-timers, and anyone craving fresh air and a slower pace.

The hikes take place in Mammoth Lakes, about a 45-minute drive from Wayfinder Bishop, with meet-up at the Mammoth Welcome Center - 2510 Main St, Mammoth Lakes
