Fourth of July

at Bishop City Park

Event Info

  July 4, 2026

Small town, big celebration.

Every Fourth of July, the heart of Bishop comes alive as locals and visitors gather at Bishop City Park for a full day of community, live entertainment, local vendors, and one of the Eastern Sierra's most anticipated fireworks displays.

Hosted by the Bishop Fire Department alongside a number of community partners, this annual celebration fills the park with food vendors, craft booths, live music, family-friendly activities, and a beer and wine garden throughout the day. Bring a picnic blanket, settle into a lawn chair, and spend the afternoon enjoying one of Bishop's favorite summer traditions.

Make a weekend of it at Wayfinder Bishop. Just minutes from the festivities, our creekside basecamp puts you close to the action while keeping the Eastern Sierra right outside your door.

As the sun sets behind the mountains, the celebration continues. After 9 PM, tune in to KIBS 100.7 FM for synchronized music and look to the skies above Bishop City Park as the evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks show launched from the east side of the park.

Admission is free, and all are welcome.
